BJP had not yet recovered from the Supreme Court's electoral bond decision, when another big decision came against it. Ultimately the Supreme Court convicted Anil Masih, and he was declared the mayor of Aam Aadmi Party in Chandigarh.
The question arises that when BJP can commit a major dishonesty in a small election, then it must be committing major dishonesty in a big election? The bus remains to be caught. Therefore, doubting EVMs is not wrong.
Some people may say that EVM came at the time of Congress? So why protest now? But after today's decision, it can be said that although EVMs came first, the chip of dishonesty can be fitted in EVMs after 2014? बीजेपी सुप्रीम कोर्ट के इलेक्टोरल बांड के फैसले से अभी उभर भी नहीं पाई थी, कि एक और बड़ा फैसला उसके विरुद्ध आ गया। आखिरकार सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने अनिल मसीह को दोषी ठहरा ही दिया, और चंडीगढ़ में आम आदमी पार्टी का मेयर घोषित कर दिया गया।
सवाल वही उठता है, कि जब बीजेपी एक छोटे से चुनाव के लिए एक बड़ी बेईमानी कर सकती है, तो बड़े चुनाव में तो वह बड़ी बेईमानी अवश्य करती होगी ? बस पकड़ना बाकी है। इसलिए ईवीएम पर शक किया जा रहा है, तो वह भी गलत नहीं है।
कुछ लोग कह सकते है, कि ईवीएम तो कांग्रेस के समय पर आई थी ? तो अब विरोध क्यों ? पर आज के फैसले के बाद कहा जा सकता है, कि माना ईवीएम पहले आई, पर ईवीएम में बेईमानी की चिप तो 2014 के बाद से फिट की जा सकती है ? अब रहा कुछ राज्यों में विपक्षी दलों के जीतने का सवाल राज ? तो बेईमानी का पर्दा भी तब तक फाश नहीं होता, जब तक वो ईमानदारी के साथ किया जाता रहे ? समझदार को इशारा ही काफी ?
आज के सुप्रीमकोर्ट के फैसले ने इस आशंका को भी जन्म दिया है, कि कहीं बीजेपी इसी तरह की बेइमानी करके अन्य जगह तो काबिज नहीं ? जब गलती सरेआम पकड़ी गई हो, तो लोगों का ऐसा सोचना निरर्थक नहीं हो सकता ?
सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसले के बाद राहुल गांधी का वक्तव्य आया कि " नाम अनिल मसीह का है, पर चेहरा नरेंद्र मोदी का है"
राहुल गांधी की बात में काफी दम है, सुप्रीम कोर्ट को यदि सचमुच इसके पीछे की कड़ी भी देखनी हो, तो अनिल मसीह नामक मोहरे को कुछ दिनों के लिए रिमांड पर भेज दीजिए, ये सख्श वो भी उगलेगा, जो इसके अंदर है।
इस फैसले से यह भी साबित हुआ, कि मोदी-शाह चुनाव जीतने के लिए किसी भी नीचता तक जाने को तैयार है। वह इस लोकतंत्र देश में सिर्फ अपना वर्चस्व चाहते है, विपक्ष की भूमिका उन्हें बिल्कुल स्वीकार नहीं है।
देशवासियों को यदि सचमुच 2024 में इस बीजेपी जैसी बेईमान पार्टी से छुटकारा पाना है, तो उसे सत्ता परिवर्तन करना ही होगा, और सोये हुए लोगों को जगाना होगा। अन्यथा ये बेईमान पार्टी लोकतंत्र की प्रतिष्ठा के साथ-साथ देश प्रतिष्ठा भी दांव पर लगा देगी।
