Low voting has become a matter of concern for both the ruling party and the opposition.
The ruling party is worried because its "core voter" has shifted. And the opposition is worried because its voter is already considering it as defeated due to EVM and other reasons. Overall, the public's attitude has increased the heartbeat of both the parties.
Another reason for low voting can also be that Prime Minister Modi has lied so much to the public that now the public is not ready to trust him. The public has started looking at Prime Minister Modi as a "gappy" and "jumlabaaz". This can only be called the misfortune of the country.
There is a feeling of distrust among the public that our Prime Minister lies on every issue.
He talks about two crore jobs, and as soon as he gets power, he turns back on it. He promises to give pucca houses to everyone by 2022, and then turns back on it. He asks the public to bring back black money, and himself sets up a "black empire" of extortion through electoral bonds. He promises to make petrol and diesel cheaper, but here too he changes his mind and reduces it to Rs 100. He promises to give gas cylinders for Rs 400, but then changes his mind and reduces it to Rs 1100. He shows the dream of doubling the income of farmers, but instead takes the lives of more than 700 farmers. He talks about giving security to women, but gets them beaten up by the police in public, and also openly protects the accused of sexual exploitation. During Modi's tenure itself, the price of dollar has reached Rs 83, the percentage of unemployed in the country has reached 83, and our number has increased even more among hungry countries. The condition of the country today is such that except a few industrialists, people of all classes have been forced to live a life of poverty.
When someone lies every day, then can't you believe that he is telling the truth? This is what is happening with Modi.
Now there can be many reasons for low voting, but in the end I would say that sometimes "low scorer" matches are more interesting than "high scorer" matches.

कम वोटिंग सत्ता पक्ष व विपक्ष दोनों के लिए चिंता का विषय बनी हुई है।
सत्ता पक्ष के लिए इसीलिए चिंतित है, कि कहीं उसका "कोर वोटर" खिसक तो नहीं गया ? और विपक्ष इसीलिए चिंतित है, कि कहीं उनका वोटर ईवीएम व अन्य कारणों से उन्हें पहले से ही हारा हुआ मानकर तो नहीं चल रहा ? कुल मिलाकर जनता के रुख़ से धड़कनें दोनों पक्षों की बढ़ी हुई है।
एक अन्य कारण कम वोटिंग का यह भी हो सकता है, कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी ने जनता से इतना झूठ बोला है, कि अब जनता उन पर विश्वास करने को तैयार नहीं है। जनता प्रधानमंत्री मोदी को "गप्पी" व "जुमलेबाज" की नजरों से देखने लगी है। इसे देश का दुर्भाग्य ही कहा जायेगा।
जनता में यह अविश्वास की भावना आ गई है, कि हमारा प्रधानमंत्री बात-बात पर झूठ बोलता है।
वह दो करोड़ नौकरी की बात करता है, और सत्ता मिलते ही पलटी मार देता है ? 2022 तक सभी को पक्के घर देने का वायदा करता है, और फिर पलटी मार देता है ? जनता को तो काला धन लाने को बोलता है, और खुद इलेक्टोरल बांड के जरिए वसूली का "काला साम्राज्य" खड़ा कर देता है। पेट्रोल डीजल सस्ता करने का वायदा करता है, पर यहां भी पलटी मारते हुए उसे 100 रुपए तक पहुंचा देता है। गैस सिलेंडर 400 रुपए देने का वायदा करता है, पर फिर पलटी मारता है, और 1100 तक पहुंचा देता है। किसानों की दोगुनी आमदनी का सपना दिखाता है, पर पलटी मारते हुए उल्टे 700 से ऊपर किसानों की जान ले लेता है। महिलाओं को सुरक्षा देने की बात करता है, पर सरेआम उन्हें पुलिस से पिटवाता है, और योन शोषण के आरोपी को खुलेआम संरक्षण भी देता है। मोदी के कार्यकाल में ही डालर की क़ीमत 83 रुपया पहुंच गई है, देश में बेरोजगारों का प्रतिशत 83 हो चुका है, और भूखे देशों में हमारी गिनती और ज्यादा बढ़ गई है। देश की हालत आज ये है, कि चंद उघोगपतियों के अलावा सभी वर्ग के लोग तंगहाली की जिंदगी जीने को मजबूर हो गये है।
जब कोई हर दिन झूठ बोले, तो उसके सच बोलने पर भी यकीन नहीं होता ? यहीं सब कुछ मोदी के साथ घट रहा है।
अब कम वोटिंग के कारण तो बहुत से हो सकते है, पर अंत में यहीं कहूंगा, कि कभी-कभी "लो स्कोरर" मैच "हाई स्कोरर" मैच से ज्यादा दिलचस्प होते है।
