वैसे तो कांग्रेस में आये दिन किसी न किसी नेता के बीजेपी या किसी अन्य पार्टी में जाने की सुर्खियां बनी ही रहती है, इसी फेहरिस्त में अब कमलनाथ का नाम भी शामिल हो गया है।
कांग्रेस ने देश में सबसे ज्यादा शासन किया है, यहीं कारण है, कि वहां नेताओं ने सबसे सत्ता सुख भोगा है।
जब सत्ता सुख ज्यादा मिल जाये, तो संघर्ष का माद्दा समाप्त होने लगता है। जो नेता कांग्रेस से छिटककर दूर जा रहे है, वो सत्ता मिलते रहने से इतना अधिक सत्ता लोलुप हो चुके थे, कि जब पार्टी में वास्तविक संघर्ष आया, तो वह संघर्ष की जगह वापिस सत्ता की ओर मुड़ गये।
हाल ही में कमलनाथ के नेतृत्व में मध्यप्रदेश में कांग्रेस को एक बड़ी हार का सामना करना पड़ा है। तो उम्र को देखते हुए कमलनाथ समझ रहे है, कि आगे उन्हें कांग्रेस में कोई बड़ा मौका मिलना सम्भव नहीं है। यही कारण है, कि वह अपने बेटे को सत्ता की मलाई खाने के लिए बीजेपी में स्थापित करना चाहते है। चले तो वह खुद भी जाते, पर बीजेपी में अंदरुनी विरोध चल रहा है, इसी कारण रूके है। कांग्रेस की तरफ से कमलनाथ को साफ संकेत दिये गये है, कि जाना है, तो दोनों जाओं, एक इधर, एक उधर नहीं चलेगा। तो अब गेंद कमलनाथ के पाले में है। देखें क्या निर्णय लेते है।
कांग्रेस के इतने विधायक व सांसद तोड़ने के बाद मूल बीजेपी का अस्तित्व भी खत्म होता जा रहा है, जिन्होंने पार्टी के लिए दिन-रात संघर्ष किया, वो पीछे रह गये, और जो पैराशूट के जरिए आये, वो सत्ता में स्थान पा गये। आज मोदी भी नेताओं को सत्ता लोलुप बना रहे है। एक दिन जब जनता का बीजेपी से मोह भंग होगा, तब बीजेपी में संघर्ष करने वाले चंद लोग ही बचेगें। वैसे भी मोदी ने आत्ममुग्धता के कारण अपने अलावा किसी को आगे बढ़ने का मौका ही कहां दिया है। मोदी के किनारे हटते ही उस वैक्यूम को भर पाना बीजेपी के लिए बेहद मुश्किल होने वाला है।
वर्तमान में कांग्रेस एक अंतहीन संघर्ष पर है, इसलिए कांग्रेस का दामन वहीं पकड़ कर चल सकता है, जिसमें संघर्ष करने की क्षमता हो ? पर ध्यान रहें, पतझड़ के बाद नई कोपलें अवश्य आती है।
