Nehru was the Prime Minister at a time when not even a single needle was produced in India. It must have been an amazing task to lift the country from that stage, while during that time it also had to fight a war with China in 1962.
That is to say, despite lack of resources, Nehru ji not only carried out the work but also brought India into the category of a developing nation. Therefore, history remembers him as a “man of the times” and an “idealistic man”.
If today's Prime Minister Narendra Modi had got the reins of Nehru ji's country, he would have divided the country at that very moment. Leave aside the struggle of these gentlemen, like their pensioned ancestors, they would have once again handed over the country to the British and pushed them into the darkness of slavery.
The reason is clear, that despite having such good resources, when Modi felt the need to sell government institutions and establishments, then what would he have done in 1947? One can only imagine. And this is the big difference that draws a line between “Pt. Nehru” and “Narendra Modi” and divides them.
Who is an “idealist”, and who is an “opportunist”? This is what the people of the country would recognize. Blind devotion will suffocate ourselves as well as the country.
Ever since Modi got the reins of the country, the condition of the unemployed, farmers, laborers and the poor has gone from bad to worse. The situation of unemployment in the country is so bad that it has become completely impossible for the Modi government to provide proper employment to the educated people of the country.
It may be good that American companies use sites like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram etc., which are burning the hearth of crores of families in India, unfortunately if all these sites ever get closed, then there will be situation of starvation and poverty in good houses all over India. Will be born, and it won't take long for chaos to spread across the country.
The situation has become such that the Modi government is not able to provide work to the workers even on hourly basis under the Congress era scheme “MNREGA”.
Today, while Prime Minister Modi should be thinking about creating employment for the public, on the contrary he is playing the game of Hindu-Muslim and Ram Temple inauguration to mislead the people of the country.
Religion is a matter of “privacy”, it is better if it remains private, but only an “opportunist man” can achieve his electoral goals under the guise of faith, which the Modi-Shah duo is doing very well.
With the construction of the temple, neither will people's unemployment go away, nor will farmers' income double? Neither will the poor get permanent houses, nor will inflation be controlled? Neither black money will come back, nor will smart cities be built? For these tasks, an "idealistic person" like Nehru was needed, and not an "opportunistic person" like Modi?
Change in the country is possible only by distinguishing between "idealistic" and "opportunistic" people, otherwise blind devotion only brings subjugation, which we all together are facing well.

पं जवाहरलाल नेहरू व लौह पुरुष सरदार वल्लभ भाई पटेल में एक समानता थी, कि दोनों की छवि एक "आदर्शवादी पुरुष" की रहीं। वर्तमान समय में मोदी-शाह की जोड़ी इसके पूर्णतः उलट एक "अवसरवादी पुरुष" की रही है, यह बात इन लोग समय-समय पर सिद्भ भी की है।
नेहरू उस समय के प्रधानमंत्री थे, जब भारत में एक सुई तक का उत्पादन नहीं होता था, उस अवस्था से देश को उभारना सचमुच एक अद्भतीय कार्य रहा होगा, जबकि उस दरम्यान चीन से 1962 में युद्भ भी लड़ना पड़ा।
कहने का मतलब नेहरू जी ने संसाधनों के अभाव के बावजूद भी न केवल कार्यों को अंजाम दिया, बल्कि भारत देश को एक विकासशील राष्ट्र की श्रेणी में लाकर भी खड़ा कर दिया । इसलिए इतिहास उन्हें एक "युगपुरुष" व एक "आदर्शवादी पुरुष" के रूप में याद करता है।
नेहरू जी, वाले देश की बागडोर आज के प्रधानमंत्री नरेन्द्र मोदी को यदि मिली होती, तो इन्होंने तो देश का बंटाधार उसी वक्त कर दिया होता। इन जनाब के संघर्ष की तो बात ही छोड़िए, ये तो अपने पेंशन पूर्वजों की भांति, एक बार फिर देश को अंग्रेजों को देकर, गुलामी के अंधेरे में धकेल देते।
कारण स्पष्ट है, कि जब आज इतने अच्छे संसाधनों के बावजूद भी , सरकारी संस्थान, प्रतिष्ठान बेचने की जरूरत मोदी को पड़ गई, तो 1947 में ये क्या करते ?बस कल्पना की जा सकती है। और यहीं बड़ा फर्क "पं नेहरू" व "नरेन्द्र मोदी" के बीच एक रेखा खींच कर इनको विभाजित करता है।
कौन "आदर्शवादी" है, और कौन "अवसरवादी" ? यहीं बात देश की जनता को पहचानी होगी। अंधभक्ति से खुद के साथ-साथ देश का गला ही घुटेगा।
मोदी को जब से देश की बागडोर मिली है, तब से बेरोजगारों, किसानों, मजदूरों व गरीबों के हालत बद से बद्तर हो चले है। देश में बेरोजगारी के हालत इतने खराब है, कि देश में पढ़े-लिखे लोगों को उचित रोजगार देना अब मोदी सरकार के लिए पूर्णतः असमर्थ हो चुका है।
वो तो भला हो, अमेरिकी कंपनियां यूट्यूब, फेसबुक इंस्टाग्राम आदि साइटों का, जो भारत में करोड़ों परिवारों का चूल्हा जला रही है, दुर्भाग्यवश यदि ये सभी साईटें कभी बंद हो गई, तो संपूर्ण भारत में अच्छे-अच्छे घरों में भुखमरी व कंगाली के हालात पैदा हो जायेंगे, और संपूर्ण देश में अफरातफरी फैलते देर न लगेगी ।
हालत ये हो चुके है कि मोदी सरकार, कांग्रेस के जमाने की स्कीम "मनरेगा" के तहत मजदूरों को घंटे के हिसाब से भी काम नहीं दे पा रही है।
प्रधानमंत्री मोदी को आज के समय, जहां जनता के लिए रोजगार सृजन हेतु सोचना चाहिए, वहीं इसके उलट वह देश की जनता को गुमराह करने के लिए हिन्दू-मुस्लिम, व राम मंदिर उद्घाटन का खेल, खेल रहे है।
धर्म एक "निजता" का विषय है, जो निजी रहे, तो अच्छा रहता है, पर आस्था की आड़ में अपना चुनावी मकसद साधना एक "अवसरवादी पुरुष" ही कर सकता है, जो मोदी-शाह की जोड़ी बखूबी कर रहे है।
मंदिर बनने से न तो जनता की बेरोजगारी दूर होगी, और न ही किसानों की आय दोगुनी होगी ? न ही गरीबों को पक्का घर मिलेगा, और न मंहगाई काबू में आयेगी ? न काला धन वापिस आयेगा, और न स्मार्ट सिटी बनेगीं ? इन कार्यों के लिए नेहरू जैसे "आदर्शवादी व्यक्ति" की जरूरत थी, न कि मोदी जैसे "अवसरवादी व्यक्ति" की ?
"आदर्शवादी" व "अवसरवादी" व्यक्तियों में भेद करने से ही देश में परिवर्तन सम्भव होता है, अन्यथा अंधभक्ति तो सिर्फ पराधीनता लाती है, जिसे हम सभी मिलकर भली-भांति झेल रहे है।
