third economy (तीसरी अर्थव्यवस्था)

It is good to see and hear that Modi is showing the dream of making the country the third largest economy in the world in his third term, but its ground reality is different.

     We should not forget that India is a country with a huge disparity in terms of poverty-wealth.  Here the income of the top 10% of the rich is 57% of the total income of the country.  While the income of the bottom 50% of the population is only 13% of the total income of the country.  This fact is from the World Inequality Report 2022.

        Modi is a juggler of words.  The poor people are very happy with his words, but his bag will always remain empty.

         The arrogance of becoming the third economy is possible only with the power of the capitalists.  If there will be a big boom in the lower class, then forget it.  Rather, as the income of the capitalists increases, this inequality will deepen.

      Modi's achievement in the last nine years has been that today he has made 80 crore people dependent on just "five kilos" of food grains.  Give a third chance, believe me, in the coming time, if 90 percent of the people of the country start living their lives on "two forts" grains, then it will not be surprising.

मोदी तीसरे कार्यकाल में देश को विश्व की तीसरी बड़ी अर्थव्यवस्था बनाने का जो सपना दिखा रहे है, यह देखने व सुनने में तो अच्छा लगता है, पर इसकी ज़मीनी हकीकत अलग है। 

    हमें यह नहीं भूलना चाहिए कि भारत गरीबी-अमीरी के मामले में एक बहुत बड़ी असमानता वाला देश है।  यहां टॉप 10% अमीरों की आय देश की कुल आय की 57% है। जबकि नीचे के 50% आबादी की आय देश की कुल आय की सिर्फ 13% है।  यह तथ्य विश्व असमानता रिपोर्ट 2022 का है।

       मोदी बातों के बाजीगर है।  उनकी बातों से गरीब जनता खुश तो बहुत  होती है, पर उसकी झोली हमेशा खाली ही रहने वाली है।  

        तीसरी अर्थव्यवस्था बनने का दंभ पूंजीपतियों के दम से ही सम्भव है।  इससे निचले तबके में कोई बड़ा उछाल आयेगा, तो भूल जाइये।  बल्कि जैसे-जैसे पूंजीपतियों की आय बढ़ेगी, यह असमानता और गहरी होती जायेगी। 

     मोदी की पिछले नौ वर्षों की उपलब्धि यह रही,  कि उन्होंने आज 80 करोड़ लोगों को महज  "पांच किलो" अनाज तक निर्भर कर दिया है।  तीसरा चांस और दे दीजिए,  यकीन मानिए, आने वाले समय में देश के 90 फीसदी लोग यदि  "दो किलों"  अनाज पर ही अपना जीवन गुजर-बसर करने लगें, तो ताज्जुब न होगा।
